A weekend at the beginning of October has been dedicated for Apple feasting for 10 years. This year it was held in 12 places.
This year it was necessary to move the event to a new place due to the ongoing reconstruction of the manor house and garden of the Little Carpathian Cultural Centre in Modra. Apple feast found its temporary home in the premises of the School Cellar of the Secondary School of Wine-Fruit Production. Not even changing the place did not discourage the visitors and the space was filled very quickly. In addition to apple treats, cakes, art products, the atmosphere was complemented by a concert of country and folk groups performing at this event as part of Jablkofest. The event was financially supported by the Bratislava Regional Tourism Organization, ZSE Foundation and regional centre of National Rural Network for Bratislava region. The event is organized for the needs of the project “Cultural and Creative Revival of Traditions (Heritage SK-AT), which is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund within the Interreg V-A Slovak Republic – Austria Cooperation Program.
